My rules

98.- Rule for having pasta at a business (dinner) lunch

In  my experience, chances are that if you choose spaghetti (or any other long pasta such as fetuccini, capelli d’angelo, linguini, etc.) your clothes are going to show it. When rolling the pasta on the fork, is difficult to prevent the salsa from splitting. So, I suggest you ask for “pasta corta”, that means: penne, fusili, tortellini, gnocchi, etc.). It is a lot more easy and elegant to eat, and you reduce the chances of spoiling your shirt, tie or dress.
